eRep

Are you signed up as an eRep?  As an eRep, you can service customers 24/7 and you can reach out of state customers.  Plus, you can build a list of customers to mail brochures to – and bring in referrals to your site. [Check Mail Brochures tab for more mailing information] Here I will be adding a few tips that have helped grow my eRep sales:

Google Analytics

One of the most helpful tools I use as an eRep is Google Analytics.  With this tool, you can view your visits per day, where your visits are coming from by their location and by what link brought them to your page, and you can even see how visitors navigate through your site! (Plus, a few other tricks!)  If you are using social media platforms in your marketing, GA can help you see what efforts are being fruitful and in what areas your efforts need improvement. You can continue to grow and develop as an online marketer.  [Remember, each social media platform is unique –posting 16 times a day may be acceptable on Twitter and build followers, but on Facebook usually one or two posts a day is all you need and more may cause a decline in followers.] As you can see in my screenshot below, I have fewer visits to my website on Saturdays and Sundays over the last month…a great indication that perhaps an area of improvement for me may be to give my business more attention than I have been on weekends. It also is nice to see how many of your visits are return visitors so you can see you have built a relationship with the visitor and will have repeat business.

To setup; Visit http://www.google.com/analytics and follow instructions to create your own profile.  You will receive an ID number.  Copy this to past it later.  Then, log on to youravon.com and go to [Web Office] tab.  Click on “Manage My Website.”  Across the top of the page is a pink banner with [Web Office Home,] [Edit Spanish Site,] [Update Theme,] and [Advanced Options.]  Click on [Advanced Options] and expand the information for “Google Analytics.” There, you will be able to paste in your ID, click the terms, and Update Google Analytics.

Connect with Me

While on the Website Editor, be sure to add any media platforms you already have established for your Avon business.  This will allow your visitors to follow your marketing in the form the like most.  The Website Editor allows you to add Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Google Plus and LinkedIn profiles, and will help you find the correct username or URL for most.  After updating your Google Analytics, close out of that box, and you can find the “Connect with Me” edit box at the bottom right hand of the page.
When visitors come to your Avon shopping homepage, they may click on the icon for the media of their choice and a new webpage will open for them to follow you there without interrupting them from shopping on your site.

The Avon Blog

Our eRep page allows us to blog directly onto our page – your visitors may find your blog as a tab from your homepage, as one of the boxes listed on your homepage (if you have selected to show your blog from the Website Editor), or by searching on the internet…that’s right, in a Google search.  You may be wondering why Google, Bing, Yahoo or other sites might show YOUR blog in their search results.  Well, it depends on what people are searching for, what is posted on your blog, how often you update your blog, and the amount of traffic you have to your blog.  [There are many, many techniques for driving traffic to your blog – do your research! You can find sites that say they will help build traffic to your site, but remember, if it seems too easy, it’s probably a gimmick. The gimmicks may give you traffic, but usually not traffic that is truly interested in your site and therefore not helpful in building your online presence.] About 8% of my visitors come through my Avon blog. If you are not using your blog, you are missing out on extra marketing to drive visitors to your page.
The best way to build your online presence is over time, posting about relevant Avon and other beauty topics, using your opinions, the media tools Avon offers to us and how-to guides. The more you post, the more your visitors feel they get to know you – the more your visitors feel they know you, the more likely they are to feel comfortable shopping from you.  Since your Avon blog stays on your Avon website, you may post there as often as you like. I like to post about: sales I like, a new product that I have personally tried and liked or have a had a close friend tried it and given me feedback, when Avon is mentioned in fashion magazines, or just the start of a new campaign with a picture of the new campaign book and the dates that campaign will be available online. Build your blog the way you like, and add to it at least once a week.

I will be adding to this page to help give more tips on building your eRep website....come back soon!

More 2014 Updates: eReps

Important Updates to Your Online Business
Enabling Avon Representatives to have a best-in-class opportunity, fully taking advantage of Avon’s Two Ways to Earn (Personal Sales & Team Sales) AND Two Ways to Sell (Face to Face & Online) is a top priority for Avon. As part of this, Avon Representatives will be able to continue to grow online business and provide better service to Customers.
·  Online, direct delivery Customers will receive a complimentary brochure with direct delivery orders placed on your Avon eStore. Make sure your Customers request this brochure to keep them coming back and shopping from your online store.
·  Beginning in C13 (C15 Trendsetter), Representatives will no longer earn 10% from orders placed by the small number of Customers who were forced attached as a part of a program that was implemented in December, 2011 and who asked for ‘no contact’ from their Representative.
·  Later this Summer, Representatives will earn double and triple dollars on Beauty Power Play products from direct delivery sales through their Avon eStore.
Some other points to remember:
·  Representatives will continue to earn 20% (25% for PC and above) from their online direct delivery Customer sales when a Customer chooses to attach to a Representative, and receive full earnings for all Representative delivery orders placed by attached Customers online.
·  Once a Customer buys from your Avon eStore, they remain YOUR Customer—you will earn from their sales providing they login in with email address and password registered.
·  Avon eStore sales from attached customers contribute to your Total Order Size, which may result in you receiving higher earnings levels for your traditional sales.
