Have you been signing
up new Avon representatives? To reach Avon Leadership, you need to make sure
you have a team submitting the correct amount of orders for your success. For
example, according to current guidelines, to become a Unit Leader, per campaign you need:
- $200 in personal
sales
- 3 team member orders
- Team sales of $1,200+
(this includes your personal sales)
So, you may have 3
members signed up under your name, but if all 3 of them do not place orders,
you will not get to title. To help encourage sales participation, I like to
send a welcome email, and an email a few days before each new campaign order is
due for the first 8 orders. I like to include details for current new rep incentives,
and sales tips. If you do not already have a support plan for your new
representatives, you may want to think about what you can do to encourage and
train your new team for success!
Below is a template for the welcome email I
like to use. Be sure to update where needed, and attach incentive details to
your email. (Most areas I need to remember to update, I keep in red font so I
remember to review for each new member.)

Go to yourAVON.com and register.
Input your new Avon Account Number and explore and familiarize yourself with your new
home.

2. Create and open your
Avon Web Store!
You have the ability to create and customize your very own personal web page,
where you can direct all of your Customers to visit and shop with ease! Once
you've set it up, your store is open for business 24/7.
It’s easy to set up. Here’s how:
1. Log in to yourAVON.com
2. Go to Web Office
3. Under Resources, click on NEW! Online Quick Setup
Let everyone know you have a new business by sending a Grand Opening email!
Follow this path: yourAVON.com>web office>marketing tools>send
email>grand opening
How easy was that? Now you’re ready to make money!
3. Go to Avon’s training
site, Avon University and start with the module “New
Representative Playlist.” Please be sure to also take the course “Placing Your First Order.” You
will find it in the course catalogue under “New Representative.”
SALES TIP
Want
to immediately increase your earnings? Give everyone you know (plus those you
don’t!), a mark. Magalog PLUS an
Avon brochure and watch your sales grow like never before. Make sure you add
your Avon Web Store link and all of your contact info!

At Avon, we are

Here are a few things
that will be pretty important for you to know.
Some of the basics
that will help you get a feel for your new business environment:

Place your order on submit days, pay for your order on time!
Here’s your step-by-step guide to placing your orders:
1.
EMAIL: Please check email daily! I do most all communication Via- Email.
You’re now running your own business. I advise you get a separate email
account to run your business. A lot of great information and tips comes
via email. If you are not reading email you’re missing a lot of help and tips.
Also have an Email signature to advertise your business. Always state; Name,
Ind. Avon Sls. Rep – Title, phone, email and web url & a tag line such as
“Start your own Avon business” Ask me how”!
2.
An AVON order is due every
other week on your ordering schedule provided. Always be on time & SAVE orders in the system till
order time!! Shipping charge is approx. $4 less when it is on time.
Take the 20 minute training class at youravon.com “Getting Started on
youravon.com” & watch the “Need Help Ordering” under MY ORDERS tab. Orders without
full payment for a prior order will not be sent to you.
3.
Don’t forget to order
brochures every time you place an order. You will be
reminded as your closing your order to order your brochures. Missing an
order will put you behind on your books for the upcoming campaigns. So NEVER
miss an order!
4.
Always ask your customers
for a referral name of another customer. You can offer
the customer who gives the referral a 10% discount off their own order for that
campaign or a small gift.
5.
Schedule your time so you
can make regular sales contacts with everyone. Your fortune is in the follow up / Reminder
calls. Customers HOLD YOUR PAYCHECK!
6.
Be sure you attend your
District Sales Meetings. MEETINGS ARE VERY
INFORMATIVE AND YOU CAN MINGLE WITH SOME OF THE DISTRICT’S TOP
REPRESENTATIVES. They are not mandatory but available to you- Free
samples and displays are available. Watch your email and newsletters for dates
& times for your local area.
7.
Build your earnings through
recruiting other representatives. Earn up to $25
per person plus advancement bonuses & a residual income!! We would appoint
these reps initially while you are in training together and put them on your
team. DO NOT REFER THEM TO AVON. If you do so you will not get
credit for them being one of your team partners. They must appoint with you for
you to make the bonuses and residuals as your team partner. So call me or
the District Manager to make your initial appointments. If you’re not
interested in leadership please refer them to me.
8.
NEVER give a customer their
order unless they are giving you FULL payment.
9.
Complete your FREE online
“BEAUTY OF KNOWLEDGE” training. Under the
training tab at youravon.com. Click on: Beauty of Knowledge, then click on
Training courses, then Click NEW REP tab. These classes are CRUCIAL and
the first 5 classes are only 1 hour and 37 min total time. Please take the time
to invest in you and your business. The new rep classes need to be completed
before your 1st order and preferably within your first week of business.
10.
All items cannot be put in
every brochure but that doesn’t mean the item is not available. Use the product search or you can call Avon at
1-513-551-2866 for assistance.
11.
AVON has a 100% money- back
guarantee…Please honor that guarantee for any item YOU
sell. AVON will give you credit for what you paid with our EZ- Returns
processing system for any item you credit & send back. Offer your
customers exchange or credit. I always offer the credit first &
in 3 years only had to give 1 refund.

Let’s
talk timing!
To keep all of the Representative deliveries running smoothly, Avon is on a
shipping system called the Representative Processing Schedule (RPS). You are on
RPS (xx) which
means that you can submit an order every other (Xxxday)
to qualify for the lowest possible shipping fees. It is best practice to submit
all of your orders at one time on your submit day to qualify for best shipping
prices; but you can enter and save orders as you receive them. Your first order will be Campaign XX, due on 01/01 by
11:59PM, just before midnight. I will email you again before then to remind
you, and give you some additional information.
· Your District
You are a part of District number (xxxx), and
your District Manager is (xxxx xxxxx). Be
on the lookout on youravon.com to attend National meetings and training on the
Avon Web TV. I have copied your District mailbox and your District Manager on
this email.
** I will
be in touch through emails, texts, or however you prefer (I email a lot) –
please feel free to reach out to me at any time you need me, for any questions
or concerns you have, but you are encouraged to also engage with your local
district for meetings, trainings, networking, and anything you need there as
well. You should expect to hear from your District Manager soon to welcome you
to the team as well.
Key to Remember: Our
new brochures and business tools are ordered right along with your Customer
orders, so skipping any Campaign will delay your receipt of the most up-to-date
tools, demos and brochures. Submitting separate orders in one Campaign will
result in higher shipping prices.

What’s
the minimum?
There is no minimum order with Avon. However, our earning structure is based on
a “The more you sell, the more you earn!” philosophy, and you will begin seeing
earnings once you have reached at least $50 in sales per campaign. I
always recommend having the goal of making every order $100 or more. Work
it and give yourself a raise every two weeks!
And remember, you’re in business for yourself but not
